Video Arts | Scenography | Modelling
Travelling to the Wonderland explores the stage model as a language of spatial thinking rather than simply a representation of a final design. Inspired by the classical Chinese tale The Peach Blossom Spring, the project transforms the visual language of traditional Chinese painting into an embodied 3Dl landscape. Ink-like architectural forms, figures and fragmented scenery create a space through which narrative, movement and emotion can be imagined. Light and shadow continually reshape the model, producing shifting boundaries, depth and atmosphere. The work treats scenographic modelling as a process of discovery—a way of travelling through space, memory and an imagined world.
